Please note: Each therapist is independently licensed and practices independently of Couples Counseling Associates.
I work with couples and individuals of all stripes on improving relationships with partners, spouses, family members, friends, and coworkers. I work to help you identify patterns, experiment with new ways of interacting, and break the cycles that keep you stuck. My approach is friendly, informal, and straightforward. I can provide short-term help with coping strategies or making a plan for action, ongoing support with something you’re living through, or help with untangling something complex in your history.
I’m thrilled to return to Couples Counseling Associates as an associated therapist, after working with the practice from 2010-2014. In addition to earning a master’s in counseling at Northeastern Illinois University, I have training in LGBTQ-specific issues, domestic violence, and crisis intervention. Before going back to school, I worked behind the scenes of live theater as a stage and production manager. I’ve also spent the past several years working for a Chicago software company, where I continue to work remotely since relocating with my husband and our pooch to Oregon in 2016.
I can often be found tromping through woods, doting on my dog, Calvin, or practicing the cello, which I took up a couple years back.
